Clinching Press

Clinching Press, Fastener Insertion Machine

This clinching press, also known as a fastener insertion machine, is used alongside press brake operations to help complete sheet metal parts after bending. It is commonly used to insert fasteners such as nuts, studs, and standoffs, or to create secure joints directly on sheet metal without welding. Assembly becomes easier to handle, with less manual work involved, and the results stay consistent even when the same parts are produced repeatedly. It fits naturally into sheet metal fabrication processes where both forming and assembly need to be done efficiently.
